What We Collect

When you use Planforge, we collect:

• Account info: Email, name, profile photo (optional)
• Content: Projects, tasks, comments, and files you create
• Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited
• Cookies: To keep you logged in and remember preferences

How We Use It

• To make the app work (authentication, notifications, collaboration)
• To improve features and fix bugs
• To prevent abuse and spam

We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Third Parties

Your data is shared with:

• Cloudinary: Stores uploaded files (avatars, attachments, org logos)
• Google (optional): If you sign in with Google
• OpenAI (optional): If you use AI task generation

Each has their own privacy policy. We don't control what they do with data.

Your Rights

You can:

• Update your info anytime in settings
• Delete your account (profile → Delete Account)
• Export your data — contact us for a JSON dump

Security

We use HTTPS, hash passwords, and rate-limit login attempts. But nothing is 100% secure. Don't store sensitive business data here.

Data Retention

We keep your data until you delete your account. After deletion, personal info is removed immediately, but some content (like tasks you created in shared projects) may remain anonymized.
